Live videos have fast become one of the more popular forms of content seen online, with people watching three times more live videos than pre-recorded videos on social media, with 1 in 5 videos on Facebook people live streams and almost every social platform now highlighting live videos.
Why is it so popular? A common train of thought is that because it’s live and likely more personal, where one person is in shot talking to the viewer, it’s active rather than passive, and therefore more interactive and engaging.
Many businesses have seen live videos as a necessary content stream, particularly in the music and entertainment industries, but it is certainly not limited to those industries with untapped potential.
